Job: QA Test Technician

Job Description

We're looking for a QA technician to execute testing projects and assist in general product qualifications. You may also assist in the daily verifications and help recreate and track down failure analysis issues.What you'll need to be successful:

• 1-3 years of relevant software/hardware quality assurance testing experience a plus
• A high degree of skill in troubleshooting, characterizing, and describing SW and HW defects
• Ability to learn new technical information quickly
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speaking style
• Can facilitate discussions of QA technical issues, bringing in other functions (program managers, customer support, etc.) as necessary
• Self motivated; self starter
• Familiarity and experience with sophisticated audio/video consumer electronics devices
• Knowledge of the consumer electronics market a plus
• College course in computer science or related discipline preferred
