You "get" TiVo and can build a bushel of ideas to help others see how an amazing technology can change their lives.You’ll get to work with a fabulous team of professionals to help us continue to step forward in maintaining our smiling brand, building marketing messages that work, and create and tell a compelling story that makes everyone who is alive today crave a TiVo DVR.Here’s what you’ll get to do:

  • Lead the development and evolution of the TiVo brand and messaging strategy and help present those ideas to internal (executive) audiences
  • Ensure that the creative function operates in an efficient, sensible and cost-effective manner
  • Collaborate and contribute to the creative process as leader of a creative team of internal and external professionals
  • Explore new media and new channels, including viral marketing, to communicate new and effective messages
  • Author and pitch creative strategies, communication solutions and great ideas
  • Manage, continually monitor, and build the professional development and readiness of a creative team
  • Show your passion for the TiVo Brand through your work

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, creative management, Fine Arts or equivalent visual design and management experience; graduate degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years working as CD or related position in an agency or in-house equivalent
  • Direct-client engagement experience; collaborating with and presenting to senior executive, including CEOs on regular basis
  • Management experience, having led direct reports, includingwriters, designers and other creative professionals
  • Proven success in delivering messages, marketing and creative developmentfor consumer-facing companies. Prior work in the consumer electronics industry is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptionalcommunication skills, including written, presentation etc.
  • Perspective as a result of seeing projects through, from concept to post-launch results.
  • Successful application ofbest practices in creative design and brand management
