  • Work with Tivo’s top-notch software architects and expert developers to design solutions that span the full scope and variety of TiVo’s software functional areas.
  • Develop, test, debug, and maintain new and existing code to implement software solutions for media consumption technologies and applications as required by our partners and end users.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • 5+ years of experience working on embedded systems
  • BS in CS or equivalent is a must. MS is desirable.
  • A proven track record of designing anddevelopingcommercial Software products
  • Experience as a technical leadrole on a teamof developers
  • Excellent C++ and C skills
  • Experiencein a Linux/Unix development and build environment
  • Excellent object oriented design and analysis skills
  • Experience with complex, multi-threaded applications running on platforms with memory and performance constraints.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and memory usage issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with collaborative and product-focused attitude
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies in a short time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
