Job Description

We are looking for a talented engineer to develop subsystems that have a huge impact TiVo's new and innovate prodcuts. Ready?Here is what you'll get to do:

• Develop the middleware layerof TiVo's next generation products.

Here is what you'll need to be successful:

• BS CS/CE/EE or equivalent.
• ExcellentC++ skills.
• Excellent object oriented design and analysis skills
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Good debugging skills.
• An interest and exposure to real-time software including inter-process communication, message passing, locks, priorities and threads.
• Ability to work across many features in a large code base.
• Strong communication skills - can effectively discuss technical issues/topics with engineers and non-engineers.

What will really get you noticed by our team:

• Experiencewith video, audio, and graphics programming
• Comfortable in a Linux/Unix development and build environment.
• Experience with developing automated tests.
